Making a difference in our community

Core Objectives

1. Alleviate the suffering of the less priviledged.

- Provide shelter, clothing and food to the poor widows, orphans, aged persons and persons with disabilities.

- Offer scholarships to underpriviledged children and youth to ensure access to quality education

- Provide free medical services, including health screenings, treatments and awareness campaigns to improve the well-being of vulnerable groups

2. Empower Women and Widows

- Offer skill acquisition programs, vocational training and microfinance opportunities to empower women and widows economically.

- Provide counselling and support groups to address emotional and psychological challenges faced by widows

3. Support Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)

- Advocate for the rights and inclusion of PWDs in society.

- Provide assistive devices, rehabilitation services, and access to education and employment opportunities.

4. Youth and Teenager development

- Educate youths on good living habits, moral values and cultural preservation.

- Conduct awareness campaigns on the dangers of alcohol, drug abuse and teenage pregnancy.

- Promote good parenting practices through workshops and community engagement.

5. Community Development

- Organize community outreach programs to address immediate needs such as food, clothing and healthcare.

- Foster community cohesion by promoting volunteerism and collective action.


Expanded Focus and Interventions

1. Healthcare Interventions

- Establish mobile clinics to provide free medical services in rural and undeserved communities

- Partner with local hospitals and healthcare providers to offer specialized care for PWDs pregnant women and children.

- Conduct health education programs on hygiene, nutrition and disease prevention.

2. Educational Support

- Build and renovate schools in rural areas to improve access to education.

- Provide school supplies, uniforms and scholarships to children from low-income families.

- Organize after-school programs and mentorship initiatives to keep the youths engaged and motivated.

3. Economic Empowerment

- Entrepreneurship training programs for women and youth to reduce unemployment and poverty.

- Cooperatives and savings groups to enable members to start small businesses

- With financial institutions to provide low-interet loans to beneficiaries.

4. Advocacy and Awareness

- For government policies that support the rights and welfare of vulnerable groups.

- Public awareness campaigns on issues such as gender-based violence, child rights and disability inclusion.

- Social media and community radio to reach a wider audience with educational messages.

5. Psychosocial Support

- Counselling centres to provide emotional and psychological support to victims of abuse, trauma and neglect.

- Organize support groups for widows, single mothers, and PWDs to foster a sense of community and belonging.

6. Environmental Sustainability

- Promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices within communities.

- Organize tree-planting initiatives and clean-up campaigns to improve community health and well-being.

7. Disaster Relief

- Provide emergency relief materials such as food, water and clothing to communities affected by natural disasters or conflicts.

- Collaborate with other NGOs and government agencies to ensure effective disaster response.
